This boltonia, also known as a false aster has gorgeous little pink blooms in masses from the end of summer into autumn which attract all the pollinators, the whole plants seem to hum on a sunny day! Grows to around 30 cm tall and wide, they look lively in the front of the border, in pots and in rock gardens. They prefer a fully sunny spot, with good drainage. Cut back and add compost around the base of it after its trim to keep it happy.
