Eucomis 'Tiny Piny Ruby' was bred in New Zealand and has been crossed with two dwarf South African species, to create a lovely pint-sized hybrid. 

Eucomis 'Tiny Piny" forms a good-sized clump and each rosette has extremely wavy-edged leaves plummy coloured leaves and is topped, with 15cm spikes of small pineapple flowers..a perfect size for the rock garden or a pot.  Tiny Piny will multiply easily so you can get more plants. Likes a sunny well-drained spot.  Both the flowers and the leaves can be cut and last well in a vase. Deciduous but pops up again in early Spring.
