This hardy evergreen shrub has small, glossy, serrated dark green leaves. In the warmer months, beginning in springtime, it is covered with delicate, highly scented white flowers. The flowers are followed by oval shaped dark berries which present as a lovely feature into the autumn months.

Popular uses include hedging as it does prune well, as well as mixed garden plantings.

Plant in full sun/ partial shade.
