Potentilla "Melton Fire" is a clump-forming perennial that features beautiful pink-apricot flowers with a blackish red centre with dark coloured anthers on tall arching stems with strawberry-like foliage.  It is a low maintenance plant that grows easily in soils with medium moisture but it does like a well-drained spot. Tolerant of drier soils once established.  May self-sow and is happy in full sun to partial shade.  Summer flowering.  Great cut flower.
