Clary Sage is an upright biennial, well known for its medicinal properties and especially as an essential oil.

It has wonderfully textured, wrinkled, mid-green scented leaves and spectacular spikes of pale pink and purple flowers with white bracts, from late spring through summer.

It self-seeds, but we always say that's a gift...free plants!

Plant in full sun, and it will form a clump growing to 1 metre high by 50 cm wide

Grows really well with Chysanthemums and Euphorbias, and is fully hardy.

A really useful plant with gorgeous texture, a unique scent and lovely colour.
