Also known as "Bugle", this is the lovely white variety which you do not often see.

For the best results, Ajuga like to be grown in moist but well-drained soil.  Small white flower spikes adorn the plant from spring to mid-summer.  It can be grown in full sun or partial shade, but more sunlight will give you more flowers. 

It is ideal for a woodland style garden or a lovely addition to the front of a border for a cottage garden.  A great ground cover if you are wanting something that is both pretty and that spreads reasonably quickly. It is perennial and hardy as well.
