Also known as Masterwort, and Hattie's Pin Cushion, Astrantia produces many small papery ivory coloured flowers flushed with the softest pink and pale green that flower continuously from late Spring through into Autumn.

Each small masterwort flower is made up of umbels of tiny flowers that are framed by a papery bract. An excellent cut flower that also dries well. Prefers a spot in partial shade but does tolerate full sun and prefers to be kept moist, we mulch our plants to help the soil retain its moisture. Bees also love this plant. A very popular plant and hard to find!
