Geranium x oxonianum  Katherine Adele makes an excellent ground cover as it is both vigorous and clump forming.  The flowers are a very pretty pale pink with purple veining which are offset beautifully by the soft mid green with dark brown markings.

Geraniums are herbaceous perennials and for the most part they are super easy to grow, and little care is required apart from the odd haircut to tidy the plants up if you want to, doing this will also stimulate new growth and a fresh burst of flowering, and we do this periodically through the growing season. They require minimal maintenance, and you will be able to propagate them by division - we find we can do this at most times of the year.

Not only are geraniums easy care, but they are also generally pest and disease resistant, so are a great addition to the garden. Once established, they are also drought tolerant and even slugs, snails and rabbits turn their noses up at them which we think is a great thing!

Plants prefer a moist but well drained position and will perform in both sun and partial shade although some respite from the hot afternoon is preferred. Loved by bees.
